How It Works

Data Gathering
We gather pertinent information from your agency before our arrival.
Survey
Everyone enrolled in the class will be given a link to take a survey before the first day of class.
Classroom Instruction
The Mentoring class is an eight-hour, interactive course. The class is limited to 25 students to ensure quality over quantity conversations. The course will cover the following topics:

Mentor Booklet
During the training session, we will use a booklet created by Paradigm Strategy Consulting. In addition to the items mentioned in the Classroom Instruction above, the booklet also contains the following: sample templates on writing a policy for your Mentor Program, how to establish Mentor guidelines, a sample Welcome Packet, how to pair Mentors / Mentees, and a sample evaluation form for Mentors and Mentees. The booklet is yours to keep as a reference.
Review
After the session, we will review everything covered and take questions from the participants.
Follow-Up
We will follow up with you at the 6- and 12-month marks to see how the program is progressing.

About Us
Raymond Beltz is a Senior Lieutenant at a Northeast Florida Law Enforcement Agency. He is currently assigned to the Patrol Division as an Administrative Lieutenant. Raymond has been in law enforcement for 23 years, 18 of which have been in supervision. In addition, he was also a Field Training Officer, a Field Training Sergeant, and is currently a certified law enforcement instructor.
During his career, Raymond has incessantly sought out continuing educational classes to enhance his ability to perform his daily duties, as well as enhance his leadership skills.
